Abdüssamet Pulat completed his undergraduate degree in Economics Department of Istanbul University in 2010 and then started his master's degree in Marmara University Middle East Research Center Middle East Economy-Politics Department in 2011. He completed his master's degree in 2014 with his thesis entitled "Turkey-Iran Energy Relations" and began his PhD education in the field of Middle East Studies. Pulat, who started working as a research assistant at the Institute of Social Sciences of Sakarya University in 2014, is still working on the Economy at the Middle East Institute.
